GSM Phone Back-Up
The GSM unit of choice we recommend is a SEC ENG 62. This unit is very reliable and is easy to maintain.
The main reason why a GSM unit would be installed at a premises is for the monitoring of your phone line by the alarm panel. If the panel detects that the phone line has been cut or tampered with, the alarm system will then use the GSM unit to contact the back to base control room.
The unit can be used for any alarm system.
It is primarily used for high risk situations where the installation can not soley rely on a phone line and requires an alternate route to report to the control room.
